Product Updates — June 2025
We didn’t add more buttons in June—we made the ones you use work better.
This month, we focused on improving the quality of your exports, making your billing more flexible, and pulling in more useful data from Google Maps.
You’ll notice cleaner emails, smoother workflows, and more context in your reviews.
Here’s what we rolled out, shaped by real usage—and a few very good complaints.
Update #1 – Cleaner, Verified Emails from Google Maps Scraper
No more fake emails. No more cleanup required.

You had to plug them into third-party tools just to figure out what was real.
Now, that’s all handled inside Lobstr.
We’ve upgraded Google Maps Search Export with Lobstr.io’s email discovery and validation engine—the same one we use for Sales Navigator exports.

So now:
- You’ll only get legit emails. No more obvious dummies.
- You can validate emails and filter out risky or dead emails.
Less junk. More leads that actually work.
Update #2 – You Can Now Reset Billing on Your Current Plan
Ran out of credits? You don’t have to upgrade anymore.

Until now, if you used up all your credits before your billing cycle ended, you were left with 2 options:
- Either wait for their billing to renew
- Or pay for a bigger plan
Not anymore.
You can now reset your billing cycle at any time—and resubscribe to your existing plan with one click.

No upgrades. No plan changes. Just a fresh start on the same plan you’re already using.
It means:
- You get the same number of credits your plan offers
- You’re charged again immediately, and your billing date updates accordingly
- You can keep scraping without overcommitting to a higher tier
This gives you more control over your usage—especially during high-volume weeks—without having to stretch your budget.
Update #3 – More Data Fields in Google Reviews Scraper
Google recently started including extra metadata in reviews for certain business types like hotels.
Reviews now come with extra fields:

- Type of trip (Business, Couples, Solo)
- Trip group (Family, Friends, etc.)
- Category ratings (Rooms, Service, Location)
- Highlights from the stay (e.g. “Great value,” “Pet-friendly”)
But until now, none of that showed up in your export.
Now the Google Maps Reviews Scraper captures all that metadata and includes it in your output file.

So when you’re scraping listings like hotels, resorts, and other supported categories, you’ll now get richer data to work with.
It’s more context, more structure, and more value.
